Continuing to foster a UW/Boeing collaboration

Research roundtable group
Participants in the Boeing/UW research roundtable.

In 2014, BARC (The Boeing Advanced Research Center at that time) was established as a center on the University of Washington campus for Boeing engineers to innovate collaboratively side-by-side with UW faculty and students. Over the last nine years, this collaboration has grown and matured to be interdisciplinary across the UW College of Engineering and multiple programs at Boeing. Last week, UW hosted Boeing’s Vice President of Product Development, Michael Sinnett while the UW Aeronautics and Astronautics faculty fostered discussions around their research.

It was super exciting to discuss current and future research for the future of flight! We are so glad BARC was able to host this roundtable.
